Made is an attempt to substantiate the aim of high school’s training of students by the analogy with the process of development of person in history of mankind. Formulated are corresponding goals, i.e. training of professional, citizen and person. Determined are undamentals of the named training, i.e. comprehension of theoretical knowledge as concentrated and pedagogically organized expression of social and historical experience. Also discussed are tasks of educational activity as stages in moving towards the named aim.
