This article examines the theoretical and methodological aspects of preventing deviant behavior in students in vocational education. The relevance of issues in contemporary social transformation, such as the rise of aggression, legal nihilism, and the increasing incidence of destructive and addictive diseases among young people, is identified. The article explores the nature of deviant behavior, its main forms and causes, as well as the principles of the main treatment approaches: medical, psychological, and social. The validity of teachers’ professional culture as a key factor in the success of preventive activities is explored. Attention is paid to the need for a systemic and interdisciplinary course integrating pedagogical, psychological, and sociological methods. It is demonstrated that the prevention of deviant behavior should be aimed at developing students’ personal abilities, fostering stable moral and social attitudes, and a positive attitude toward professional activity. It is shown that pedagogical prevention requires a systemic and student-centered approach, ensuring students have stable value orientations, legal awareness, and social security. The article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying forms of deviant behavior and developing methods for their intervention. Particular attention is paid to teachers as agents of prevention and the importance of professional culture in creating a safe educational environment. The need for interdepartmental cooperation between educational institutions, families, and relevant agencies is substantiated. Pedagogical technologies that facilitate the correction of addictive and protest behavior in students are proposed. In conclusion, it is necessary to ensure pedagogical technologies and methods for preventive work in professional education.
