Strategic directions of control and supervision in the field of education: Current state and development vectors

The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the directions of control and supervisory activities of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science in the context of modern challenges and reforms in the education system of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the regulatory framework, including the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation approving the Regulations on Rosobrnadzor, as well as current draft documents of the service, key powers and mechanisms for their implementation are identified. The study focuses on areas such as regulatory and legal regulation, federal state control (supervision) in the field of education using risk-based and preventive approaches, control and supervisory activities in relation to state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, assessment of the quality of education, licensing, and state accreditation. The study concludes with conclusions about the trends in the development of control and supervisory activities in the field of education.
