Our brain has amazing abilities. The proposed article, based on the works of famous mechanics educators, neurophysiologists, as well as psychologists and specialists in the exact sciences, is, according to the authors, a brief ‘operation manual’ for the potential inherent in the minds of students in relation to mathematics and natural science.
We talk about the search for effective methods of mastering material, in particular, using the concepts of focused and diffuse attention. We consider the effectiveness of the approach in education using the example of student participation in real projects. We draw attention to the role of qualitative analysis for the structure of differential equations in understanding the physics of the process. We offer recall of material as a main tool in preparing for an exam, as opposed to mechanical repetition.
Keywords: consciousness, restructuring, memory, piece of information, recall, overall picture
