Youth participation in the political life of society: the regional aspect

Today, the civic and political engagement of young people is undoubtedly undergoing drastic changes. The participation of young people in the political life of society is a special form of their group interests, reflecting the conscious features of their own social position, role and place in society and the way they are implemented. The purpose of the article is to study the participation of young people in the political life of the country. The author explores the forms of political activity as one of the aspects of political activity. The article provides a comparative analysis of each of the forms reflecting the degree of youth participation in the political life of the country. In addition to the forms of participation, the author examines the features of youth policy in the Republic of Tatarstan.
