Presented is the model of physical education in modern education, emphasized is significance of physical education, and also substantiated is correlation of physical culture, physical breeding and physical education as to requirements and objectives of state policy in the field of physical education and health improvement of society. Defined are the place and significance of mentality in physical education, and also correlation of mental and corporal as value basis of physical education is emphasized. In this connection, key problems of adaptive physical culture in experience in the field of APC of sub-faculty of physical training at Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University are analyzed.
