Examined is the theme of the role of productive branch of higher educational institution in the system of high school’s training of competitive specialist. Analyzed are problems of strengthening of practical component of training of specialists, as well as reduction of gap between high school’s theory and practice of modern production, nowadays widely discussing. Also elaborated is concrete experience Karaganda state technical university on solving of the named problems with using in particular dual training for purpose of improvement quality of training of highly qualified and competitive specialists on the example of branches responsible of letting-out students of sub-faculties of university. Also presented are examples of experience of using of graduated specialists at various industrial enterprises.
