The problem of youth involvement in the activities of public organizations remains one of the key issues in the context of the formation of civic engagement and socio-political stability of society. Modern research notes a low level of youth participation in socio-political life, which is due to a number of factors, including lack of awareness, skepticism about the effectiveness of organizations and the lack of flexible interaction formats. The article presents the results of a sociological study conducted among the youth of the Moscow region, aimed at identifying strategies for participation in youth public organizations. The key factors influencing the choice of fields of activity, including gender, age, and educational characteristics, are analyzed. It was found that the strategies of social projects and volunteerism are the most popular, while the political direction remains the least in demand. Special attention is paid to the role of digital platforms and government support in increasing youth engagement in public life. The results of the study make it possible to formulate recommendations for youth organizers aimed at adapting programs to the needs of various youth groups.

Keywords: youth organizations, participation strategies, civic engagement, social projects, volunteerism, digital platforms
