The influence of the concentration of institutions of secondary general education on the distribution of the population in the social space of the St. Petersburg megapolis

The relevance of the material lies in the fact that, at the present stage, in the context of the ever-growing urbanization of the population, the issue of structuring the social space of the city is becoming increasingly acute. In St. Petersburg, a city of millions, a separate subject of the Russian Federation, certain social spaces are being created based on the distribution of various goods and services. The object of the study is the peculiarity of the concentration of institutions of secondary general education in the social space of the megapolis of St. Petersburg. The subject is an assessment of the impact of the concentration of institutions of secondary general education on the distribution of the population in St. Petersburg.

The purpose of the scientific project: based on the analysis of the imbalances of secondary general education organizations in the federal city of St. Petersburg, to identify their accessibility to residents of the metropolis.

The methodological basis of the research consists of: the method of statistical analysis, methods of generalization, systematization of data, cartographic analysis, graphical and comparative methods.

The practical significance lies in the fact that the result presented in the work will allow institutions of secondary general education to identify their main consumer audience, as well as the most in-demand potential places for the development of this business, will give the state an idea of the profitability of the population and their opportunities to purchase services, and will allow the electorate to identify the quality of the area, etc.

Актуальность материала заключается в том, что на современном этапе, в условиях постоянно растущей урбанизации населения, всё острее становится вопрос о структуризации социального пространства города. В Санкт-Петербурге, городе-миллионнике, отдельном субъекте Российской Федерации, создаются определенные социальные пространства на основании распределения различных благ и услуг. Объектом исследования является особенность концентрации учреждений среднего общего образования в социальном пространстве мегаполиса Санкт-Петербурга. Предметом выступает оценка влияния концентрации учреждений среднего общего образования на распределение населения в Санкт-Петербурге.

Цель исследования: на основе анализа диспропорций организаций среднего общего образования в городе федерального значения Санкт-Петербурге выявить их доступность для жителей мегаполиса.

Методическую основу исследования составляют: метод статистического анализа, методы обобщения, систематизации данных, картографический анализ, графический и сравнительный методы.

Практическая значимость состоит в том, что представленный в работе результат позволит учреждениям среднего общего образования выявить их основную потребительскую аудиторию, а также наиболее востребованные потенциальные места для развития данного бизнеса, государству даст представление о доходности населения и их возможностях приобретения услуг, а электорату позволит выявить качество развития района и др.
