The article discusses the main requirements for specialists in the aerospace industry of the new technological order from the perspective of the Russian Federation’s digital economy program. It defines the basis of educational policy for transforming aerospace education in accordance with the requirements of the digital economy and creating conditions for developing digital competencies for the next generation of engineers.
