Modern educational space: Problems of the health-saving system

The article deals with the organization of work on the development of knowledge and the formation of health saving skills in the modern educational space, the activities of higher educational institutions for the preservation and strengthening of the health of teachers and students are comprehended. In the process of questioning and interviewing, various aspects of the attitude of students and teachers to the problems of health saving are investigated. The level of knowledge in this area and the formation of stress resistance among students are analyzed depending on the level of education and the material well-being of their families. It has been established that university administrations are purposefully working to create conditions for the formation of a careful attitude of students to their health by involving them in active physical culture and sports. Students from families that belong to high-resource groups have a higher level of knowledge in the field of health saving, and the skills of volitional psycho-physiological self-regulation of a person are better developed than students from families that belong to low-resource groups. In most cases, girls know better than boys about the causes of stress, how to overcome it, and about stress resistance. Girls have a better attitude to their health than boys, which allows them to maintain normal performance in conditions of educational stress. It was revealed that the higher the level of material well-being and the level of education of parents, the higher the level of knowledge about a healthy lifestyle and the better the health of the respondents. It is obvious that students from medium-resource and low-resource families are much less familiar with ways to overcome the negative effects of stress. Therefore, with this category of students, universities need to intensify work on the formation of healthy lifestyle skills. Based on the results of the study, the author proposes measures aimed at improving the health of all participants in the educational process.
