Presented is the analysis of chemical education as one of basic elements in professional training of bachelor engineers in the field of “Techno-sphere safety”. The task of training in chemistry of modern engineer is to develop his chemical thinking, that allows him consciously solve particular problems of physic-chemical direction, that arise before him in the process of practical work. The article describes ways of formation of chemical thinking. Also principles of selection of educational material on chemical disciplines are given.

Key words: chemical disciplines, techno-sphere safety, engineer.
