Researched are problems of using of the system of artificial intellect (MIND), allowing to carry out on-line monitoring of publication activity of teachers of sub-faculty. Elaborated neural network allows to monitor activity of teachers on the base of processing of such indicators, as academic degree, publications of journal articles, citation, Hirsch index, and others. The author’s hypothesis has been put forward and proved, that on the basis of the neural network of “Kohonen map” might be possible successfully to carry out on-line MIND monitoring of publication activity of faculty members at university.

Key words: higher education, neural network, MIND-monitoring, publication activity, Kohonen map, Hirsch index.
