Globalization trends against the background of Russian scientific and educational space

Discussed are principal trends in integration of Russian system of higher education in global educational space. Positive and negative aspects associated with these processes are noted. The article emphasizes, that globalization processes in education cannot be considered unambiguously, since this phenomenon carries different kinds of loads, each of which has lot of evidences, verified by experience. Positive significance of globalization of education is due to increased competition in the field of obtaining knowledge and professional competencies of youth, stimulating further development of innovative educational technologies and their distribution among other countries.
