Presented is the analysis of philosophical, psychological and mathematical heritage of D.D. Mordukhai-Boltovsky. His personal qualities and civic positions regarding historical realities in Russia at the end of the second decade of the 20th century are revealed. An attempt is made to show, that scientific and pedagogical heritage of scientist and teacher is valuable and remains relevant in our time.
